PURE - Looking at Trends for Spring/Summer 2015

Twice a year Pure is held at Olympia in London as a buying mecca for the independent shops and boutiques.  There are fashion shows and trend talks on how the statement fashion pieces are evolving from one season to the next.

Here is a glimpse of what we will find in the shops next Spring/Summer.

Abstract Art

Shifting from geometric prints to brush strokes and bold paintings, bold stripes and spots.

Softer fabrics with draping and gathering, in silks and quilting.

Bare shoulders and high waisted skirts and shorts.

Shoes - flat and pointed, chunky flat sandels with thick straps and solid soles and graphic printed flats and court shoes.

Separates

Oversized jackets with soft gathered skirts.

Top to toe jumpsuits in silky fabrics.

Summer suiting more feminine than A/W14 in soft pastels.

Colours - Orange from blood orange to coral and deep moody blues.

White Out

Top to toe in white with an emphasis on separates and layering.

Sheer inserts and panels are featured again next summer.

Soft fabrics giving a feminine sihouette.

Skirt lengths from mini through to maxi.

Soft Tailoring

Block colour in brights and pastels with contrasting black or white.

Boy friend jackets and deconstructed separates.
