With more rain and winds
coming our way I have been checking out the most stylish and waterproof coats
around Brighton.
The modern trench coat
is still going to be a key look this spring.
Most fashion high street
retailers stock coats with a twist on the traditional style, such as two-toned
panels or sleeves. Updated Parkas
are in the shops in navy, khaki and black and some are quite padded to keep out
the cold. These designs all have
hoods and many have fur round the edge, and the quilted versions are practically
all showerproof, too.
Marks and Spencer is
selling a great range of macs and coats with Stormwear a breathable finish that
repels water. Some of the designs
are thermal and they come in some great colours including cobalt blue, red and
beige.
To add a quirky twist to
your outfit, wellington boots are both fun, practical and waterproof. At Joules in East Street, Brighton you
can see a great selection of their designs in tall and short boots. They also sell the perfect wellie socks
– a must to keep your feet extra
warm.
